The story
Seu Zé de Madureira isn’t a real person: he’s an AI-made grandpa with white hair, round glasses, a red shirt and black suspenders. TikTok account @seuzerj posted him on October 16, 2026 with the caption “Ninguém botou fé no vovô no baile charme” (nobody believed in grandpa at the baile charme), saying he went out at Pedra do Sal but grew up at the Madureira viaduct. The scene is an AI remake of a real clip by the charme dancer Zenegão.
Charme is the dance of the baile charme, a Black urban party culture of Rio de Janeiro that began in the 1970s and ’80s: smooth line and side steps to R&B and soul. Its best-known home is the party under the Madureira viaduct in Rio’s North Zone.
Watch the originals
This is the Seu Zé take the AI follows. In your version you dance these beats yourself; it’s AI, so the result can vary a little.
He glances over his shoulder straight into the phone camera. Every length starts right here.
Side to side, shoulders bouncing, arms swinging low in front of the waist.
The man in the white tank top dances in at his shoulder and they lean in together. A second person in your photo takes this spot.
He leans forward, arms swinging low, as the crowd behind him raises their hands.
He turns away from the camera and back again.
More side steps facing the camera, with the dancer still at his shoulder.
The AI does all of it from one photo. Only the 15 s version has all six beats: 6 s covers the first three, and 10 s runs through the lean up to the start of the turn.
Real dance, AI remake
On August 14, 2026, Zenegão posted himself dancing charme at Pedra do Sal under the floodlights. The Seu Zé clip remakes that scene with an AI grandpa in the middle: the same lights, the same crowd, the same man in the white tank top at his shoulder. Upload your photo and the next dancer in that crowd is you.
Make My Charme VideoEverything is set up for this one clip, so all you bring is a photo.
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB in your browser. On a computer, scan a QR code and send the photo straight from your phone.
Every video comes with the sound of the Seu Zé post, the party music and the crowd, so it’s ready to post as soon as you download it.
The AI uses your own face, hair, body and the outfit you wear in the photo, not Seu Zé’s red shirt and suspenders. It’s AI, so small details can come out a little different.
Two people in one photo? The second one becomes the dancer at your shoulder, the man in the white tank top in the original.

This is the clip the AI copies: the white-haired grandpa nobody believed in, out-dancing a packed baile charme under the floodlights. In your version you’re the one in the middle, looking back at the phone and hitting every charme step, in your own clothes.
In Zenegão’s real clip from Pedra do Sal, a man in a white tank top dances in right at his shoulder, and the Seu Zé remake keeps him there. Upload one photo with two people and the second one takes that spot.
Zenegão shows up to another baile charme night in a black tee and a cap. Your video works the same way: whatever you wear in the photo is what you dance in, no costume and no red suspenders.
A 6 s video costs 6 credits, 10 s costs 13 and the full 15 s costs 20. Pay once, and your credits never expire.

It’s a TikTok trend that started with an AI-made clip of Seu Zé, a white-haired grandpa in a red shirt and suspenders, out-dancing a packed night-time baile charme in Rio de Janeiro. TikTok account @seuzerj posted it on October 16, 2026, and people have been remaking it with a new dancer ever since. Charme AI does that from one photo: you take Seu Zé’s place, with the same crowd, camera, moves and original sound.
Signing in with Google is free, but making a video takes credits, and there are no free credits or free trial videos. The smallest pack, Single, is $9.90 for 20 credits: one 15-second video or three 6-second ones. Packs are one-time payments with no subscription, and credits never expire.
A failed render is retried once for free, and if it fails again, your credits come back automatically. If the AI’s content check turns the photo down, for example a celebrity or a screenshot with another app’s watermark, there’s no retry and the credits come back. Not happy with a finished video? Email [email protected] and we’ll refund your payment to your card or payment method.
Your photo is uploaded to our own storage and used only to make your video. The AI provider doesn’t keep it, and we don’t sell your data. Email [email protected] any time and we’ll delete your photos and videos.
No. Seu Zé is an AI-made grandpa, and the viral clip of him is an AI remake. The real dance behind it belongs to Zenegão (@zenegaooficial), a charme dancer who posted himself dancing at Pedra do Sal under the floodlights on August 14, 2026. The Seu Zé clip copies that scene, down to the man in the white tank top at his shoulder.
Your video comes with the original sound of the Seu Zé post, listed on TikTok as “som original - seuzerj”: the party music and crowd noise from that clip. The CapCut tutorials for the trend use “Ice Ice Baby” by Vanilla Ice from TikTok’s library instead.
You can upload a pet photo, and the AI is told to keep it a real animal dancing on its hind legs. We haven’t test-rendered a pet video on this site yet, so we can’t promise how it will look.
No. Charme AI runs in your web browser: sign in with Google, upload one photo, pick 6, 10 or 15 seconds and the AI makes the video. When it’s done, download the MP4 or share it to TikTok with one tap.
Estimated processing time is around 4.5 minutes for a 6-second clip, 8.5 minutes for a 10-second clip, and 15 minutes for a 15-second clip. You can close the page and return to your account for the finished video.
